Dancing in the City Project: Where It All Begins

Like so many before me, I fell in love with San Francisco. I love her hills, her history, and her unique way to welcome us – even with her fog. Living here for the past 5 years, I wanted to express my point of view and share my lens of the city by highlighting my favorites places, touristic locales, historic landmarks, and hidden gems.

Dancing in the City is my invitation for you to discover (or rediscover) San Francisco.

Dance is like photography because it is a universal way to communicate. It serves as a guide to capture the essence of San Francisco through the medium of Dance. The perspective of different dance styles, techniques, cultures, and ages captures the vibrancy of San Francisco.

My wish with Dancing in the City is to give pleasure and inspiration to the observer who upon viewing this photography series – will want to walk and dance in the city.

Arriving with my family in the bay area of San Francisco in July 2013, I had the chance to
become a professional photographer thanks to a community who believed in me.

Photography is where my creativity comes alive and I can fully express myself. Images replace words by telling stories in their own language. Time can be frozen to observe, to think, to enjoy every moment and never forget what matters most.

San Francisco is a city where anything can happen and where people come from all around the world to find gold and create a better world. Here, I have built my own American dream.
